Clive has operational experience delivering statutory and non-advocacy contracts and experience delivering a range of services for people with learning disabilities and autistic people.
Clive Parry has worked in adult social care for over 30 years, with over 20 years’ experience in third sector leadership positions within the learning disability and autism sector. His values are centred around ensuring that all supported people can thrive within their communities and live their best possible lives, enabled by high-quality person-centred care.
Clive worked in a variety of roles for organisations including Hft Ltd, Remploy and Voiceability, before joining ARC England as Director from 2020 to 2025, during which time he oversaw the development of the Learning Disability Research Unit and our annual Fee Rate Maps.
He was involved in the early days of the development of supported employment programmes for disabled people which created work opportunities for people who would otherwise be unemployed or working in a sheltered workshop.
He has also delivered innovative projects supporting families with disabled children to pool their personal budgets and to purchase the short breaks that they want and need.
