Do you have a passion for making things better for customers and doing things differently? Do you have experience of providing 1:1 support or training with customers, ideally training them how to use digital devices?

Our Community Support Team are looking for a compassionate and customer focussed NCHA colleague to join their friendly and professional team on a one year secondment basis to bring the idea around digital inclusion from the Hive Innovation initiative to life!
This is a newly created role that will work with teams across the whole business to identify NCHA customers who are digitally excluded. Keeping the customers at the heart of what we do at NCHA, as a Customer Digital Skills Facilitator, you will work with customers on a 1:1 basis to teach them digital skills such as receiving and sending emails, looking things up on google, turning devices on and off etc. You will receive referrals from a variety of individuals within NCHA to escalate and plan in your diary to assist the relevant customer. This role will also manage and coordinate the new digital loan library of devices and support customers who borrow them so you will track where devices are and wipe devices clean once used ready for the next customer.

Check out the role profile to find out about your main responsibilities!
You will have exceptional customer service and communication skills and the ability to work on your own initiative to tight deadlines. A full driving license with access to a vehicle is essential as you will be expected to support customers across the East Midlands.

All candidates will be asked to do a work related exercise as part of the interview process.

As an Equal Opportunities and Disability Confident Employer, NCHA welcomes applications from all suitably qualified candidates including those from Black, Asian and minority ethnic groups and disabled candidates. As part of our LGBT Allies Programme, we also welcome applications from members of the LGBT community and encourage inclusivity in the workplace.
