Essex Care Association

Our mission is to create a connected, inclusive, and resilient care community across Southend, Essex and Thurrock. We advocate for our members voices to be heard, their expertise valued, and their contributions recognised. Working collaboratively with our members, we provide timely guidance, practical support, up-to-date information, and access to learning opportunities that empower them to navigate the challenges they face with confidence and to provide exceptional care. By promoting excellence and celebrating good practice, we promote a culture of continuous improvement, and professional pride across the Essex care sector. As an organisation we have the following aims and objectives:

· To represent the interests of social care providers from Essex, Southend and Thurrock locally, regionally and where possible, nationally

· To alert members to issues which affect social care organisations relating to legislation regulation and development of best practice

· To offer members a range of services to meet their needs and a mutual support network

· To keep members abreast of new developments within the sector, whilst signposting them to sources of information which may be helpful to them

· To provide funding information, advice and guidance on training and development
