The Partnership Domiciliary Care Agency (PDCA) provide personalised support for individuals in their own homes. The PDCA aims to provide a safe, high quality individualised support service in the community for adults with learning disabilities who have complex and high risk emotional / behavioural difficulties placing themselves or others at risk of harm.
The service we offer is particularly aimed at people for whom a community-based service will be a challenge and is therefore designed to generate significant positive change for service users. In order to effect this change, the service will offer more intensive support and intervention.
We work closely with services users, their families and friends to provide a service that is centred around the person. Positive Behaviour Support is central to the work of the PDCA and is used to help realise individual goals, whilst overcoming emotional/ behavioural difficulties.
