The cost of living and the cost of energy bills are rising. We know that for lots of people this is a very worrying time.
Join us to hear from the Taking Charge campaign by Community Integrated Care, who will be sharing their ideas for how we can all save money on our energy bills this winter. They will be sharing their hints and tips as well as free resources for people to use.
Other speakers (to be confirmed) will talk about cost-of-living payments available to people with learning disabilities on certain benefits. They will be talking about what’s available and how to claim.
The second half of the session will be a for people to tell us about how the rising cost-of-living crisis is affecting them. This will help ARC England, Learning Disability England and Community Integrated Care think about how we continue to support people with the cost of living.
This is an open session aimed at people with a learning disability and autistic people. It is open to people who aren’t members of Learning Disability England.
