Our Fee Rate Maps show the fee rates paid by local councils in England and Wales. They visualise the rates and the uplifts being offered by local authority (LA) or by MP constituency area.
Freedom of Information requests about fee rates are submitted to every LA in England and Wales then the data is mapped by our data visualisation partner Polimapper.
The maps are used by ARC England members and other providers, as well as councils, to support contract negotiations and financial planning.
The project began following a suggestion by a member, Steve Cox, ex-Perthyn CEO, and is funded annually by the ARC England Learning Disability Research Unit.

The latest maps with 2024-25 data will be published in February 2025 – Watch this space!
The updated 2024-25 Fee Rate Maps, funded for the third year by our ARC England Learning Disability Research Unit, will feature richer data about Day Service rates plus providers’ actual fee rates and as well as the averages reported by Las, as asked for and provided via survey by you, the membership.
