Henshaw’s Society for the Blind provide expert care, advice and training to anyone affected by sight loss, right where it’s needed most. We also work with people with other disabilities and because all of this affects family, friends and colleagues, we work with them too.
We work in the north of England, with centres and communities in Manchester, Merseyside, Harrogate, Knaresborough and Newcastle.
Each of our centres offer different services and programmes – but they all aim to achieve our Vision:
To enable people with sight loss and people with other disabilities to build the skills and independence they need, to achieve the future they want.
