SFHT have a new exciting opportunity for a Personal Assistant / Support Worker to join our Residential care team in Ringwood on a permanent basis. This will be on a full-time basis for 40 hours per week. Overtime is available to cover staff leave, as required.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone wishing to pursue a career supporting adults with learning disabilities, or a great career progression opportunity for someone with previous experience in care, wishing to gain new work experience in a rewarding position.
The main responsibilities of a Personal Assistant will be to assist in the delivery of care and support, and be responsible for the wellbeing of people who use our service, as well as promoting and encouraging independent living for all individuals.
Experience is not essential as full training and support is provided on starting and throughout, however experience of working with people with a learning disability is desirable.
Due to the location of this position, the candidate must be a driver with a full driving licence and access to their own car.
